Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leading food distribution company located in Warrendale, PA, is seeking Warehouse Associates to support their fast-paced warehouse operations. This role is responsible for the storage, movement, and handling of materials and finished goods, with a focus on receiving and putting away inbound produce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and put away all inbound produce and warehouse goods
• Perform shipping and receiving duties
• Complete order filling, picking, and packing tasks
• Maintain accurate inventory control and records management
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) product rotation procedures
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Support general warehousing and dispatch functions as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehousing, shipping/receiving, or inventory control
• Ability to safely and effectively operate powered industrial equipment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to work in a physically active role, including standing, lifting, and walking for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a food or perishable goods distribution environment
• Familiarity with inventory management systems
• Prior experience with FIFO rotation practices

About the Role:

Contract Type: Contingent/Industrial labor assignment

Positions Available: 2

Location: Warrendale, PA (on-site)

Schedule: Sunday through Friday (off Saturday and one weekday), evening shift beginning at 5:30 PM until work is completed (approximately 9-10 hours per shift); schedule subject to change based on client needs

Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week

Travel: None required
